On Friday, The Fort Mill Community Play House opened “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change,” but it’s not too late to see this comedy-infused musical.

The show continues its run on Aug. 28 and 29 as well as Sept. 10, 11, 12, 17, 18 and 19.

This musical pokes fun at all stages of romantic relationships. The hilarious vignettes are all connected by the central theme of love and relationships. (Story continues below)

It should be mentioned that there is a fair share of profanity and sexual innuendos. It also evokes an incredible amount of emotion that feels completely relatable. Each scene explores the wide topics or relationship milestones like first dates, marriage, first babies and loss of a spouse. There is something for everyone and it is impossible not to laugh out loud.

The cast of four embody their characters entirely and complement each other perfectly throughout the two-hour musical. Their voices are lovely but paired with their emoting. You will feel like you’re right there in the situation including the very personal to the super sweet moments.

While there are too many favorite moments to isolate, you will enjoy the songs “Waiting” and “I Can Live With That” the most. There is a lot to love and nothing to change in the brilliantly casted and directed show.
