A Fort Mill man has been charged with felony DUI after causing a fatal wreck in Rock Hill on Saturday night, authorities said.
Freddy Sanders, 63, was arrested Sunday night in connection with the death of a 26-year-old motorcyclist.
Authorities say Sanders made a left turn at West Main Street and Bynum Avenue, failing to yield to the victim, who was on a Yamaha motorcycle. The resulting collision between Sanders’ Honda Ridgeline and the motorcycle led to the victim’s death from his injuries at Piedmont Medical Center.
The victim’s name has not been released.
Sanders is being held under $100,000 bond at the York County Detention Center.
