Sunny skies are forecast for Saturday’s Oktoberfest in downtown Fort Mill.

The event, which starts at 3 p.m. Sept. 21, will feature live music, more than 20 vendors, face painting, mini-pumpkin painting, food trucks, and several contests:

• Best-dressed contest

• Yodling contest

• Stein-holding contest

Contestants are asked to sign up at the main stage between 3-4pm. According to organizers, winners receive either a Hobo’s or Amor Artis Brewing gift card.

The event is part of a series of Downtown Jams, also referred in some advertisements as “Main Street Jam.” Organizers have promised family-friendly events for the street festivals with more children’s activities, crafts and food trucks this year.
